Day 1: Hue
Arrival at Hue Airport then transfer to your hotel. Following enjoy the boat trip on the Perfume River. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda on the banks of the river before continuing by boat to Minh Mang's Tomb. Forlunch, try some renowned Hue cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight in your hotel in Hue.
Day 2: Da Nang - Hoi An
In the morning, visit the Imperial City before journeying to Da Nang over the impressive Hai Van Pass, from the top of the pass stop to enjoy the view. En-route enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking Lang Co Beach, on the road to Danang. Arrive in Da Nang and visit the Cham Museum. Housing an impressive collection of Cham pieces, which give a tantalizing glimpse into this ancient culture. In the afternoon discover Hoi An. Visit the Japanese Bridge, the old merchant's houses, the temples and the Pagodas. Simply walk the streets and feel how the town has retained its charm. Overnight at your hotel in Hoi An.
Day 3: Da Nang
Breakfast at your hotel then the rest of your day is at leisure before your transfer back to Danang for your onward departure. A suggestion for the day is to take a relaxing trip to Cua Dai Beach, only 5km from town, it is the perfect spot to reach on bicycle.
OPTIONAL TOUR ON DAY 3:
Option 1: Cooking course at the Red bridge.
Following breakfast at your hotel head to Hai Scout Café at 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc St for the start of your half days cooking class (direct tel no: 863210). Meeting time is at 0845 (guide and transport are not provided to and from the cooking class), a welcome drink will be served before visiting Hoi An's colourful market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of the market. Following board 'The Red Bridge Boat' for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy. On arrival explore the cooking school's herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of HoiAn's and Vietnam's best knowndishes. The cooking class is an interesting and fun way to learn about the local cuisine -the class runs for about an hour and 30 minutes, and includes demonstrations from the school's chefs, and then a chance to cook some dishes in the Red Bridge kitchen. Following the demonstration enjoy your lunch before departing back to Hoi An Town (arrive around 1415).
Option 2: Excursion to My Son.
0830, journey to My Son, capital of the ancient Cham Hindu civilization, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 1999. Discover a complex of constructions, including different temple-towers and various architectural styles.
